One look at the Presonus Sceptre S6 CoActual active studio monitor shows you something unlike any other studio monitor you've ever seen. A standard studio monitor is based on a woofer and a tweeter, while the Sceptre is based on a single-point system, which means the low and high tones are both emitted from the same point. The result is a more uniform tone that is more precise so you can detect mixing errors you wouldn't hear from a standard studio monitor.
Features
The Sceptre S6 is suitable for mixing all-round music and audio. The 6.5-inch woofer produces low tones that are deep enough to give any instrument a clear, honest representation. It has a continuous SPL of 102 dB for plenty of details at any volume level. Last nut not least, the amplifier features a soft start that prevents a loud 'plop' sound when switched on.

Ik was wat sceptisch, ze maken mooie producten maar ook soms wat mindere.
Maar meet de geweldige '60 dagen niet goed geld terug garantie' van Bax dacht ik toch de gok te wagen.
Ik moet zeggen, wat een monitor! Laag is heel trasparant en duidelijk.
Hoog niet te scherp wat meestal voorkomt bij dit soort luidsprekers (coaxiaal). Heel mooi gedaan door de ontwerpers.
Ik kan me voorstellen dat de prijs wel hoog lijkt voor een product als deze maar het is het zeker waard!
Voordelen zijn er zoveel t.o.v. de andere monitors in deze prijs klasse.
- Betere fase
- ontzettend goede stereo weergave
- goede overloop tussen de frequenties, behoorlijk lineair!
- mooi laag, niet zo modderig en geboost zoals bij zijn prijs genoten.
Nadelen:
- power switch aan de achterkant
- voor 6" woofer wel een grote box
De nadelen wegen niet op tegen de voordelen!
